Survey Of TAP Project
Metalprove has assumed a leading role in the Supervision of Works for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP); in fact, since January 2020 we have been following the construction and laying of the pipes along the offshore line in the Adriatic Sea, 104 km long between the coasts of Albania and Italy. Our company, proud to participate in this project of international interest, is employing the best inspectors on the “Castoro Sei”, a SAIPEM semi-submersible vessel, to monitor the processes of mechanized welding and TOFD+Phased Array automatic ultrasonic testing.
