I remember the nights spent at Italsider in Taranto as an employee, and then at Anic in Manfredonia as an entrepreneur just starting out. I was a NDT operator in his early twenties, I went out in the afternoon and came back home the next day morning, leaving a wife and two young children; I was determined to learn quickly that job, often exhausting but incredibly exciting, eager to grow and improve professionally. More than forty years have passed since then and today, when I look back, I can only be pleased with the significant achievements reached by METALPROVE and I thank all persons who have attended me in this extraordinary adventure.
